Scope and Contents

This collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, and first publications of James Carpenter. The bulk of the collection consits of notes about art, correspondence, and rough drafts of his manuscripts. The collection also contains a few photogrpahs and a few personal items of James Carpenter.
